Alright its time for the last of my guest comics, that was supposed to go up last Sunday but at the last minute I changed my mind. This one is from Ari Levine who does comics at Hackneyed plot.
Bit of summer of Sonic news now, and registration for the event has now been closed due to higher than expected numbers, that's going to make it interesting on the day.
Some people may be expecting a guest comic today but I've decided to save that till Friday, instead I have Just in Time 209 up, I've also moved the previous guest comics to the random section for now at least.
Right onto a bit of community stuff, and I'm in another radio show! This one wasn't done live unfortunately since ssr is still down. I suppose I should explain the show, well its another of Urthearts non live Boomboxs discussing the goings on of E3 with Turbo (of Turbo drive live fame) and myself. Makes me think I should get my own radio show… hmm maybe, anyway download it from here for the next seven days.
Quick update on the Sonic and the Dark Knight (SatDK) front, and we finally have some information! A mixed bag really, it looks interesting but it feels like a test bed for new concepts for Sonic to try to me. Info can be found here.
You know I had today's update all ready to go, I had a guest comic set up an update written and then this had to go and happen! Well f**k the guest comic I'll put that up later I'm going with this so a sonic short is what you're getting instead of a guest comic!
When I first saw this I had to go get a drink... honest to god I went and got a drink, drank it... and you know what I still don't know how to take this, I feel like I've been blindsided (hence title of comic), of course this is all rumour at the moment as at the time of writing this no one HAS BOTHERED TO SCAN THE INSIDE!
Right that's enough fanboy panic for now.
On to todays video which youtube thought I might like by reading my favourite history... I'm sure some law has been broken there but I can't be bothered to chase them, anyway it's not bad... not great but not bad.
I'll update more on this later, when I know whats going on.

Well E3 was this week and I suppose I should comment on what's been happening on the Sonic front. Not much has been revealed for Sonic Chronicles just a few more screenshots but I know that's going to be good. Sonic Unleashed has been the big worry up until now, now that I've seen the were-hog in action I'm less worried, although I am still not sure how I want to take it.
Hello and welcome to Vgers too lazy to do a comic week so he asked for guest comics, or I really don't want to have to try and squeeze a comic out of my laptop week. Wow that's a bit of a mouthful.

Oh on a side note a new video for Sonic Unleashed went up yesterday, with some footage of were-sonic, watch it now at the Sonic City Blog. I guess when I finally saw some were-Sonic footage that I would be able to decide if I like this game aspect or not but now I find I'm still on the fence with it, best to wait and see how it plays.

Well I graduated on Wednesday and I couldn't resist doing a comic on it so here it is, the ceremony was very enjoyable except for when I had to bite my tongue to stop myself from laughing at some of the mispronounced Chinese names.
Not much else to say today other than if anyone and I mean ANYONE wants to submit a guest comic then PLEASE do, next update Sunday.
9/7/2008 - New Comic/Guest Comic Opportunity JIT 207
Today is a very important day to me, because today I get my degree and officially become a master of mechanical engineering a.k.a. master of the mechanical stuff. But you lot don't care about that all you want is your dose of comic, and I'm not one to let people down so here it is.
Over the next week or two it's going to be harder for me to do comics for various reasons, so I thought why not see if anyone wants to do a guest comic, so if you fancy doing a guest comic go ahead and email it to me at vger@emeraldcoast.co.uk, it can be anything you like as long as it is Sonic related in some way, oh and no porn.
That's all for now I'll put up another comic Friday.
Now for a bit of news it looks like ssr is going to be down for most of July as the radio system gets updated or something, all I know is I'm a lot more bored in the evenings at the moment, and hope things get going again soon.
Onto Sundays video, this one was suggested to me by Urtheart and I'll warn you now it does have some words being used that may not be appropriate for younger people, I only say this to cover my arse in case I get an angry email from a parent, so consider yourself warned, now enjoy. Oh and another warning the quality of this video isn't great and can be a bit repative.
Before I get a pile of reader complaints from Tails fans of furies about today's sonic short bear in mind I am one the biggest Tails fans out there to the point of even dressing up as him, but at some point you've got to take a step back for a moment and make a joke at your own expense.

Just in time 205 is up, and I jump straight into it, I couldn't be bothered to waste several issues explaining the plan, partly because with Knuckles along I can explain it as we go, plus if I had explained it before hand you would know it was going to go horribly wrong... who knows it still could, you will just have to keep reading to find out. In other news, Darkspeeds has produced some very nice posters for the Summer of Sonic event, which can be found, here and here, they look amazing. Oh bonus points to those who find the Emerald Coast banner in the background of one, which has nothing to with me plugging the artwork here... cough cough.
Oh and a quick reminder Urthearts Boombox should be on tonight at 9pm BST... barring any majour radio failures.

JIT 204 is up and the plot moves forward slightly, I'm actually surprised this time last Sunday I had no idea how I was going to continue the comic and since then a plan has fallen into place which should get things where I want them to be for what comes latter... yes there is actually a plan, and no I'm not telling!
Recently I was reminded of how much I enjoyed Time after time from Cyndia Lauper and so I decided randomly to see if there was a sonic music video with it in... and you know what there is!
As promised I have two comics today, the regular Friday Sonic Short (see above) and Wednesdays Just in Time.
Right on Monday it was Sonics birthday as you should all know, but what did I do for it? Well I was generously invited to take part in SSR's latest cluster f*** as AAUK so eloquently put it, the show can now be found in the radio redux archives so if you want to find out what the hell I sound like then go listen, be warned though its about three hours long, and a little rude at times.
25/6/2008 - Laptop broken
Right I regret to say there will be no comic today because I'm currently having to do my comic work on my laptop and it has picked now of all times to break again! I will be getting back to my main computer in the next day or so I'll try and have two comics on Friday to make up for this.

New Just in Time is up, and I've quiet happily written myself out of the comic for a bit, a new major plot will be starting Wednesday I hope, I still need to write it and I want to get it right.
Right for those of you who don't know its Sonics 17th birthday tomorrow and there are several things going on to celebrate, like fastfeet media being re launched tonight, a special run of shows on ssr, and several other things which will be revealed on the day. I'll have a special update tomorrow for you lot so please stop by for that as well.
